Primarily work with React across Remix, React Router, Next.js, and React Native via Expo.

Modern, scalable UI development using Tailwind CSS, supported by Jest, React Testing Library, Native Testing Library, Storybook, Cypress, and Detox.

Favour an Atomic Design approach to create consistent, reusable component systems that scale cleanly across web and mobile.

• HTML - 90% - Semantic, accessible markup - used daily throughout my career.
• CSS - 80% - Responsive layouts with flexbox, grid, and Tailwind CSS.
• Javascript / Typescript - 90% - Primary language - mostly React and React Native.
• Graphics - 50% - Average at best, not a strong suit.

Back End

Work extensively with AWS: Amplify, Neptune, AppSync, Cognito, API Gateway, CloudFront, CloudFormation, Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SNS, Route 53, S3, and EC2.

All infrastructure provisioned through AWS CDK with full IaC workflows and CI/CD via CodePipeline and GitHub Actions.

Architecture centres on Lambda as a FaaS backbone, backed by a hybrid database model using DynamoDB as the primary source of truth and Neptune/Neo4j for complex relational querying.

• PHP - 90% - Primary language for almost 20 years.
• NodeJS - 70% - CLI tools and web socket related tasks.
• Python - 80% - Scripting, automation, and data processing tasks.
• Rust - 85% - Graph database engine, HTTP proxies, and high-performance CLI tools.
• Linux - 90% - Using Linux since the 90's.

Frameworks

• React - 90% - Primary framework for Web, Electron, and Tauri apps since 2018.
• React Native - 90% - Primary framework for Mobile apps since 2016.
• Expo - 90% - Favourite RN framework - using EAS for CI/CD build pipeline.
• Tauri - 85% - My primary framework for cross-platform desktop apps - lighter and faster than Electron.
• Electron - 70% - Previously my primary desktop framework, now largely replaced by Tauri.
• Zend - 80% - A decade of experience in this framework at Deakin University.
• Laravel - 70% - Used for various side projects.
• jQuery - 90% - Used for many years.

DevOps

• GitHub Actions - Used extensively for CI/CD across all React Router and Remix apps. For Anvil DB it runs code formatting and Clippy lints, the full 3,270-test suite including Cypher tests, and builds distributions for macOS, Linux, and Windows.
• AWS CodePipeline - Used extensively for all AWS CDK development, driving infrastructure and deployment pipelines at Bond Software and DTV Management.
• Atlassian Bamboo - Limited use at Deakin University for build and release automation.
• Jenkins - Used heavily at Deakin University, especially for integration work inside Mule ESB and the Anypoint Platform.
